Installation Guide
Tools and Accessories Required: LED cabinet light (1m), solder-free connector and end cap (available as separate options), 12V DC power supply (not included; please select appropriate wattage), laminate trimmer/router with a 6mm straight bit (or a grooving saw with a guide rail), tape measure, pencil, and utility knife or scissors.
Step 1 – Measure and Mark. Measure the underside of the shelf or cabinet panel. Mark the slot location with a pencil. Ensure the slot runs parallel to the shelf edge for even light distribution.
Step 2 – Cut the Recessed Slot. Using a trimmer/router equipped with a 6mm straight bit, cut a slot 6mm wide and 10mm deep along the marked line. For materials like drywall or melamine board, using a grooving saw with a guide rail yields the cleanest cut.
Step 3 – Trim Light Strip to Length (if necessary). Measure the length of the slot. Use scissors or a utility knife to cut the LED strip to the required size. The strip can be cut at any point—there are no minimum cutting interval restrictions.
Step 4 – Install Solder-free Connector. Push the solder-free connector onto the cut end of the strip until it clicks into place. Attach the end cap to the other end of the strip. No soldering, tools, or waiting time required (note positive/negative polarity).
Step 5 – Placement and Connection. Press the LED strip into the routed slot. The 6×9mm strip sits flush with the shelf surface. Connect the solder-free connector cable to the 12V DC power supply.
Step 6 – Power On. Connect to the power supply. Instantly enjoy seamless, dot-free linear lighting. Installation complete.
Important Note: Use only a 12V DC power supply. Do not connect directly to 240V mains power.
